Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant. It could harm the unborn child. Stop using this medicine and speak your doctor right away if you become pregnant.
You must not take this medicine if you are allergic to aliskiren (Tekturna, Tekamlo), amlodipine (Norvasc, Caduet, Exforge, Lotrel, Tribenzor, Twynsta), hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ, HydroDiuril, Hyzaar, Vaseretic, Zestoretic, and much others), or sulfa drugs (Bactrim, Septra, Sulfatrim, SMX-TMP, and others).
You must not take aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide if you have severe kidney malady or are unable to urinate, or if you are also taking itraconazole (Sporanox) or cyclosporine (Gengraf, Neoral, Sandimmune).
Till you take this medicine, speak your doctor if you have kidney or liver malady, glaucoma, lupus, asthma, congestive heart failure, angina (chest pain), coronary artery malady, an electrolyte imbalance (such as low potassium or magnesium), a penicillin allergy, if you are on a low-salt diet, or if you have ever had an allergic reaction to a blood pressure medication.
Your chest pain may become worse when you first start taking the medication or when your doze is heighten. Call your doctor if your chest pain is severe or ongoing.
Aliskiren is an anti-hypertensive (blood pressure lowering) medicine. It works by decreasing substances in the body that narrow blood vessels and raise blood pressure.
Amlodipine is in a group of drugs called calcium channel blockers. Amlodipine relaxes (widens) blood vessels and improves blood flow.
Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that helps prevent your body from absorbing too many salt, which can reason fluid retention.
The combination of aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide is used to treat tall blood pressure (hypertension). This medication is generally given after another blood pressure medications have been tried without successful treatment of symptoms.
Aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide may also be used for purposes not listed in this medicine guide.

If you have diabetes or kidney disease, you may not be able to take this medication if you are also taking any of the next heart or blood pressure medications:
· azilsartan (Edarbi, Edarbyclor), candesartan (Atacand), eprosartan (Teveten), irbesartan (Avapro, Avalide), losartan (Cozaar, Hyzaar), olmesartan (Benicar), valsartan (Diovan), telmisartan (Micardis); or
· benazepril (Lotensin), captopril (Capoten), enalapril (Vasotec), fosinopril (Monopril), lisinopril (Prinivil, Zestril), moexipril (Univasc), perindopril (Aceon), quinapril (Accupril), ramipril (Altace), or trandolapril (Mavik, Tarka).
To create certain you can safely take aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide, speak your doctor if you have any of these another conditions:
· kidney malady (or if you are on dialysis);
· liver disease;
· angina (chest pain), congestive heart failure, coronary artery malady (hardened arteries);
· glaucoma;
· systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE);
· asthma;
· an electrolyte imbalance (such as low levels of potassium or magnesium in your blood);
· if you are on a low-salt diet; or
· if you have ever had an allergic reaction to penicillin or a blood pressure medication.
FDA pregnancy category D. Do not use aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide if you are pregnant. Stop using this medicine and speak your doctor right away if you become pregnant. This medicine can reason injury or death to the unborn child if you take the medication during your second or third trimester. Use effective birth control while taking aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide.
It is not known whether this medicine passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing child. You must not breast-feed while you are taking aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide.
Take exactly as predesigned by your doctor. Do not take in larger or less amounts or for longer than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label. Your doctor may occasionally change your doze to create certain you get the excellent results.
Your chest pain may become worse when you first start taking the medication or when your doze is heighten. Call your doctor if your chest pain is severe or ongoing.
While using aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide, you may need blood trials at your doctor's office. Your blood pressure will need to be checked often. Visit your doctor regularly.
If you need surgery or medical trials, speak the doctor or surgeon onward of time that you are using aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide.
Conditions that may reason very low blood pressure include: vomiting, diarrhea, hard sweating, heart malady, dialysis, a low salt diet, or taking diuretics (water pills). Follow your doctor's instructions about the type and amount of liquids you must drink while taking aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide. Speak your doctor if you have a prolonged diseases that causes diarrhea or vomiting.
Hold using this medication as directed, even if you feel well. Tall blood pressure often has no symptoms. You may need to use blood pressure medicine for the rest of your life.
Store in the original container at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
Take the missed doze as soon as you remember. Skip the missed doze if it is nearly time for your following scheduled doze. Do not take extra medication to create up the missed dose.
Search abnormal medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222. Overdose symptoms may include rapid heartbeats, severe dizziness, warmth or tingly feeling, and fainting.
Do not use potassium supplements or salt substitutes while you are taking aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide, unless your doctor has told you to.
Drinking alcohol can further lower your blood pressure and may magnify determined side effects of aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide.
Avoid taking with foods that are tall in thick, which can create it harder for your body to absorb aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide.
Avoid getting up too quick from a sitting or lying position, or you may feel dizzy. Get up slowly and steady yourself to prevent a fall.
Get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your person, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide and call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as:
· swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet;
· feeling like you might pass out;
· vision problems, eye pain, or seeing halos near lights;
· low potassium (confusion, uneven heart course, extreme thirst, heighten urination, leg discomfort, muscle weakness or limp feeling);
· low sodium (headache, slurred speech, hallucinations, vomiting, severe weakness, muscle cramps, loss of coordination, feeling unsteady, seizure, fainting, shallow breathing);
· tall potassium (slow heart course, weak pulse, muscle weakness, tingly feeling);
· chest pain or hard feeling, pain spreading to the hand or shoulder, nausea, sweating, common ill feeling; or
· severe skin reaction -- fever, sore throat, swelling in your person or tongue, burning in your eyes, skin pain, followed by a red or purple skin rash that spreads (especially in the person or upper body) and causes blistering and peeling.
Smaller serious side effects may include:
· mild headache;
· dizziness; or
· stuffy nose, sore throat.

Speak your doctor about all another heart or blood pressure medications you are taking.
Till using aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide, speak your doctor if you regularly use another medicines that can lower blood pressure (such as sedatives, narcotic pain medication, sleeping pills, and medication for seizures or anxiety). They can add to the blood pressure lowering effects of aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide.
Speak your doctor about all another medicines you use, especially:
· atorvastatin (Lipitor, Caduet) or simvastatin (Zocor, Simcor, Vytorin, Juvisync);
· cholestyramine (Questran) or colestipol (Colestid);
· lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid);
· tacrolimus (Prograf);
· insulin or oral diabetes medication;
· all another heart or blood pressure medications you are taking, especially irbesartan (Avapro), quinidine (Quin-G), or verapamil (Calan, Covera, Isoptin, Verelan);
· an oral, nasal, inhaled, or injectable steroid medicine;
· any another diuretic (water pill), especially furosemide (Lasix);
· antifungal medicine such as fluconazole (Diflucan), ketoconazole (Nizoral), miconazole (Oravig), or voriconazole (Vfend);
· HIV or AIDS medications such as nelfinavir (Viracept), ritonavir (Norvir, Kaletra), or saquinavir (Invirase); or
· non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), naproxen (Aleve, Naprosyn, Naprelan, Treximet), celecoxib (Celebrex), diclofenac (Arthrotec, Cambia, Cataflam, Voltaren, Flector Patch, Pennsaid, Solareze), indomethacin (Indocin), meloxicam (Mobic), and others.
This list is not complete and another drugs may interact with aliskiren, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide. Speak your doctor about all medications you use. This includes prescription, over-the-counter, vitamin, and herbal commodity. Do not start a new medicine without telling your doctor.
