You must not use mirabegron if have severe kidney malady, severe liver malady, or untreated or uncontrolled hypertension (high blood pressure).
Call your doctor at once if you have any of these side effects while taking mirabegron: quick or pounding heartbeats, pain or burning when you urinate, or heighten blood pressure (severe headache, buzzing in your ears, anxiety, confusion, chest pain, shortness of breath, uneven heartbeats, seizure).
Mirabegron reduces muscle spasms of the bladder and urinary tract.
Mirabegron is used to treat overactive bladder with symptoms of frequent or urgent urination and urinary incontinence.
Mirabegron may also be used for purposes not listed in this medicine guide.
You must not use mirabegron if you are allergic to it, or if you have severe kidney malady, severe liver malady, or untreated or uncontrolled hypertension (high blood pressure).
To create certain mirabegron is safety for you, speak your doctor if you have:
· kidney disease;
· liver disease;
· tall blood pressure;
· glaucoma;
· enlarged prostate, urination problems; or
· trouble emptying your bladder.
FDA pregnancy category C. It is not known whether mirabegron will harm an unborn child. Speak your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while using this medication.
Mirabegron can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing child. You must not breast-feed while you are using mirabegron.
Mirabegron is generally taken once for day. Follow all directions on your prescription label. Do not take this medication in larger or less amounts or for longer than recommended.
Take this medication with a full glass of water.
Do not crush, chew, or interrupt an extended-release tablet. Swallow it intact.
Your blood pressure will need to be checked often.
It may take up to 8 weeks till your symptoms improve. Hold using the medicine as directed and speak your doctor if your symptoms do not improve.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
Take the missed doze as soon as you remember. Skip the missed doze if it is nearly time for your following scheduled doze. Do not take extra medication to create up the missed dose.
Search abnormal medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222.
Follow your doctor's instructions about any restrictions on food, beverages, or activity.
Get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your person, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using mirabegron and call your doctor at once if you have:
· quick or pounding heartbeats;
· pain or burning when you urinate;
· painful or difficult urination; or
· dangerously tall blood pressure (severe headache, buzzing in your ears, anxiety, confusion, chest pain, shortness of breath, uneven heartbeats, seizure).
General side effects may include:
· mild headache, joint pain;
· dizziness, blurred vision;
· weary feeling;
· dry mouth, stomach pain, nausea;
· diarrhea, constipation, bloating; or
· sinus pain, sore throat.

Speak your doctor about all medicines you use, and those you start or stop using during your treatment with mirabegron, especially:
· digoxin;
· an antidepressant--amitriptyline, desipramine, doxepin, duloxetine, fluoxetine, imipramine, paroxetine, sertraline, venlafaxine, and others;
· blood pressure medication--captopril, carvedilol, labetalol, metoprolol, propranolol, and others;
· cancer medicine--doxorubicin, lomustine, tamoxifen;
· cough medication that contains dextromethorphan (a cough suppressant);
· drugs to treat enlarged prostate with urinary problems, such as tamsulosin;
· heart rhythm medication--flecainide, procainamide, propafenone;
· medication to treat psychiatric disorders--chlorpromazine, fluphenazine, haloperidol, risperidone, thioridazine, and others;
· another drugs to treat overactive bladder--hyoscyamine, oxybutynin, solifenacin, tolterodine; or
· narcotic pain medication.
