· erythromycin (E.E.S., EryPed, Ery-Tab, Erythrocin, Pediazole);

· oxacillin (Bactocill);

· penicillin (Bicillin L-A, PC Pen VK, Pfizerpen); or

· telithromycin (Ketek).

Taking any of the next medicines together with amoxicillin, clarithromycin, and lansoprazole can reason a life-threatening side effect on your heart:

· cisapride (Propulsid);

· ergotamine (Ergomar, Cafergot, Ercaf, Migergot);

• Every doze of this combination medicine contains 4 pills ( 3 capsules and 1 tablet). Take all 4 pills twice daily till you ate, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.

• Do not crush, chew, interrupt, or open the pills. Swallow every pill intact. You may swallow the pills one at a time.

• Take this medication for the full predesigned length of time. Your symptoms may improve till the infection is completely cleared. Skipping doses may also magnify your risk of further infection that is resistant to antibiotics. Amoxicillin will not treat a viral infection such as the general cool or flu.

• This medicine can reason unusual results with determined medical trials. Speak any doctor who treats you that you are using amoxicillin, clarithromycin, and lansoprazole.

• Store at room temperature, away from moisture, heat, and light.

What happens if I miss a dose?

• Take the missed doze as soon as you remember. Skip the missed doze if it is nearly time for your following scheduled doze. Do not take extra medication to create up the missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?

• Search abnormal medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222.

• Overdose symptoms may include stomach pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or urinating smaller than usual.

What must I avoid while taking amoxicillin, clarithromycin, and lansoprazole?

• If you also take sucralfate (Carafate), avoid taking it within 30 minutes after you take amoxicillin, clarithromycin, and lansoprazole. Sucralfate can create it harder for your body to absorb lansoprazole.

• Antibiotic medicines can reason diarrhea, which may be a sign of a new infection. If you have diarrhea that is watery or has blood in it, call your doctor. Do not use any medication to stop the diarrhea unless your doctor has told you to.

What are the possible side effects of amoxicillin, clarithromycin, and lansoprazole?

• Get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your person, lips, tongue, or throat.

· light bruising or bleeding, unusual weakness;

· dizziness, fainting, quick or pounding heartbeat; or

· severe skin reaction -- fever, sore throat, swelling in your person or tongue, burning in your eyes, skin pain, followed by a red or purple skin rash that spreads (especially in the person or upper body) and causes blistering and peeling.

• Smaller serious side effects may include:

· unusual or unpleasant taste in your mouth;

· headache;

· nausea, vomiting, stomach pain;

· constipation, dark colored stools;

· dry mouth, heighten thirst; or

· vaginal itching or discharge.
