Do not use hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan if you are pregnant. Stop using this medicine and speak your doctor right away if you become pregnant.
You must not use this medicine if you are unable to urinate or if you are allergic to hydrochlorothiazide, telmisartan, or sulfa drugs.
Till you take this medication, speak your doctor about all your another medical conditions and allergies. Also create certain your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. In some cases, you may not be able to use hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan, or you may need a doze adjustment or particular precautions.
Call your doctor right away if you have unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness especially if you also have fever, unusual tiredness, and dark colored urine.
Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that helps prevent your body from absorbing too many salt, which can reason fluid retention.
Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist. Azilsartan keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow.
Hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan is a combination medication used to treat tall blood pressure (hypertension).
Hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan is generally given after another hypertension medications have been tried without successful treatment.
Hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan may also be used for purposes not listed in this medicine guide.
You must not use this medicine if you are unable to urinate or if you are allergic to hydrochlorothiazide, telmisartan, or sulfa drugs.
If you have diabetes or kidney disease, you may not be able to take this medication if you are also taking a blood pressure medicine that contains aliskiren (Amturnide, Tekturna, Tekamlo, or Valturna).
To create certain this hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan is safety for you, speak your doctor if you have:
· kidney disease;
· liver disease;
· congestive heart failure;
· glaucoma;
· low or tall levels of magnesium or potassium in your blood;
· gout;
· lupus,
· diabetes; or
· an allergy to penicillin.
FDA pregnancy category D. Do not use if you are pregnant. Stop using and speak your doctor right away if you become pregnant. Hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan can reason injury or death to the unborn child if you take the medication during your second or third trimester. Use effective birth control.
It is not known whether hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing child. You must not breast-feed while you are using this medication.
Follow all directions on your prescription label. Your doctor may occasionally change your doze to create certain you get the excellent results. Do not take this medication in larger or less amounts or for longer than recommended.
Your blood pressure will need to be checked often and you may need frequent blood trials at your doctor's office
You may have very low blood pressure while taking this medicine. Call your doctor if you are sick with vomiting or diarrhea, or if you are sweating more than normal.
If you need surgery, speak the surgeon onward of time that you are using hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan. You may need to stop using the medication for a short time.
Hold using this medication as directed, even if you feel well. Tall blood pressure often has no symptoms. You may need to use blood pressure medicine for the rest of your life.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Hold every tablet in the original container before you are ready to take it.
Take the missed doze as soon as you remember. Skip the missed doze if it is nearly time for your following scheduled doze. Do not take extra medication to create up the missed dose.

Avoid getting up too quick from a sitting or lying position, or you may feel dizzy. Get up slowly and steady yourself to prevent a fall.
Avoid becoming overheated or dehydrated during exercice and in hot weather. Follow your doctor's instructions about the type and amount of liquids you must drink. In some cases, drinking too many liquid can be as unsafe as not drinking enough.
Do not use potassium supplements or salt substitutes while you are taking hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan, unless your doctor has told you to.
Get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your person, lips, tongue, or throat.
In rare cases, hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan can reason a condition that results in the breakdown of skeletal muscle tissue, leading to kidney failure. Call your doctor right away if you have unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness especially if you also have fever, unusual tiredness, and dark colored urine.
Call your doctor at once if you have a side effect such as:
· feeling like you might pass out;
· eye pain, vision problems;
· swelling, rapid weight gain;
· quick or pounding heartbeats;
· urinating smaller than normal or not at all;
· jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes);
· low sodium (slurred speech, hallucinations, vomiting, severe weakness, loss of coordination, feeling unsteady, seizure (convulsions), shallow breathing); or
· low potassium (confusion, uneven heart course, extreme thirst, heighten urination, leg discomfort, limp feeling).
Another general side effects may include:
· weary feeling;
· flu symptoms;
· nausea, diarrhea; or
· cool symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat.

Speak your doctor about all medicines you use, and those you start or stop using during your treatment with hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan, especially:
· cholestyramine or colestipol;
· digoxin;
· lithium;
· a barbiturate such as amobarbital, butabarbital, mephobarbital, secobarbital, or phenobarbital;
· any another blood pressure medicines;
· any another diuretic or "water pill";
· NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) such as ibuprofen, naproxen, celecoxib, diclofenac, indomethacin, meloxicam, and others;
· a blood thinner such as warfarin, Coumadin;
· insulin or oral diabetes medicine; or
· steroids (prednisone and others).
