This medicine must not be used on a baby or teenager who has a fever, especially if the baby also has flu symptoms or chicken pox. Salicylates can reason a serious and sometimes fatal condition called Reye's syndrome in children.
Do not use salicylic acid and urea topical on a baby younger than 2 years old.
Do not use salicylic acid and urea topical to treat any skin condition that has not been checked by your doctor.
Salicylic acid is a keratolytic (peeling agent). Salicylic acid causes shedding of the outer layer of skin.
Urea is an emollient (skin softening agent). Urea helps to moisturize the skin.
The combination of salicylic acid and urea topical (for the skin) is used to soften and remove rough, scaly skin caused by warts, calluses, keratosis, or psoriasis.
Salicylic acid and urea topical may also be used for purposes not listed in this medicine guide.
You must not use this medicine if you are allergic to salicylic acid or urea.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safety for you to use this medication if you have:
· kidney malady; or
· liver disease.
FDA pregnancy category C. It is not known whether salicylic acid and urea topical will harm an unborn child. Do not use this medication without medical advice if you are pregnant.
It is not known whether salicylic acid and urea topical passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing child. Do not use this medication without medical advice if you are breast-feeding a baby.

Use exactly as directed on the label, or as predesigned by your doctor. Do not use in larger or less amounts or for longer than recommended.

Gently clean and dry the affected area till applying the medication.
Shake the foam well just till every use. Turn the medication canister upside down to dispense the foam.
Apply the medicine to the affected area as directed. Do not use salicylic acid and urea topical on skin that is red, swollen, infected, or oozing.
This medicine can reason unusual results with determined medical trials. Speak any doctor who treats you that you are using salicylic acid and urea topical.
Use salicylic acid and urea topical regularly to get the most benefit. Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve, or if they get worse while using salicylic acid and urea topical.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
Hold the foam canister away from open flame or tall heat, such as in a machine on a hot day. The canister may explode if it gets too hot. Do not puncture or burn an empty inhaler canister.
Use the missed doze as soon as you remember. Skip the missed doze if it is nearly time for your following scheduled doze. Do not use extra medication to create up the missed dose.
Search abnormal medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222 if anyone has accidentally swallowed the medication.
Overdose can occur with long-term use or tall doses if this medication is absorbed through the skin. Symptoms of a salicylic acid overdose may include severe dizziness or weakness, vomiting, diarrhea, rapid breathing, confusion, ringing in your ears, or hearing loss.
Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes, nose, mouth, rectum, or vagina. If this does happen, rinse with water.
Avoid using another medications on the areas you treat with salicylic acid and urea topical unless your doctor tells you to.
Get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your person, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using salicylic acid and urea topical and call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as redness or severe skin irritation after applying the medication.
Smaller serious side effects may include mild burning, itching, or irritation of treated skin.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safety for you to use salicylic acid and urea topical if you are also using any of the next drugs:
· ammonium sulfate;
· probenecid (Benemid);
· pyrazinamide (for treating tuberculosis);
· a blood thinner such as heparin or warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven);
· methotrexate (Rheumatrex, Trexall);
· an oral diabetes medicine such as glipizide (Glucotrol, Metaglip), glimepiride (Amaryl, Avandaryl, Duetact), glyburide (DiaBeta, Micronase, Glucovance), tolbutamide (Orinase), and others; or
· steroids (oral, nasal, inhaled, or injectable).
This list is not complete and another drugs may interact with salicylic acid and urea topical. Speak your doctor about all medications you use. This includes prescription, over-the-counter, vitamin, and herbal commodity. Do not start a new medicine without telling your doctor.
