What is the most significant information I must know about nafarelin nasal?

Nafarelin nasal can harm an unborn child or reason birth defects. Do not use if you are pregnant.

Do not breast-feed while using this medication.

• You must not use this medicine if you are allergic to nafarelin or similar medicines such as leuprolide (Lupron, Eligard, Viadur), goserelin (Zoladex), histrelin (Vantas), or triptorelin (Trelstar).

If you are a woman, you must not use nafarelin nasal if you have emergency vaginal bleeding that has not been checked by a doctor; or if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

• Till using nafarelin nasal, speak your doctor if you have polycystic ovary malady, low bone mineral density, a history of osteoporosis, sneezing or a stuffy nose, diabetes, heart malady, tall blood pressure, last weight gain, tall cholesterol, if you take steroids or seizure medicine, if you smoke, or if you drink big amounts of alcohol.

• Your doctor will need to check your progress on a regular basis. Do not miss any scheduled appointments.

• Call your doctor at once if you have hard or continued menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain or swelling, heighten thirst, heighten urination, chest pain or hard feeling, pain spreading to the hand or shoulder, sweating or common ill feeling, sudden numbness or weakness, sudden severe headache, confusion, or problems with vision, speech, or balance.

What is nafarelin nasal?

Nafarelin nasal is a man-made form of a protein that is like a hormone in the body that helps regulate the menstrual cycle, fertility, and sexual development during puberty.

Nafarelin nasal is used to treat precocious puberty in both male and female children. It is also used to treat endometriosis in women who are 18 years of age or older.

Nafarelin nasal may also be used for purposes not listed in this medicine guide.

What must I discuss with my healthcare provider till using nafarelin nasal?

• You must not use this medicine if you are allergic to nafarelin or similar medicines such as leuprolide (Lupron, Eligard, Viadur), goserelin (Zoladex), histrelin (Vantas), or triptorelin (Trelstar).

If you are a woman, you must not use nafarelin nasal if you have:

· emergency vaginal bleeding that has not been checked by a doctor; or

· if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

• To create certain you can safely use nafarelin nasal, speak your doctor if you have any of these another conditions:

· diabetes, heart malady, tall blood pressure, last weight gain, tall cholesterol (especially in men);

• Use a barrier form of birth control (such as a condom or diaphragm with spermicide). Hormonal contraception (such as birth control pills, injections, implants, skin patches, and vaginal rings) may not be effective satis to prevent pregnancy during your treatment.

• It is not known whether nafarelin nasal passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing child. Do not breast-feed while using this medication.

How must I use nafarelin nasal?

• Use exactly as predesigned by your doctor. Do not use in larger or less amounts or for longer than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label.

• To use the nasal spray:

· Till the first use, prime the spray bottle by pumping it 5 to 10 times before a beautiful spray appears.

· Gently blow your nose to clear any mucus. Uncap the spray bottle.

· Insert the tip of the spray bottle into your nostril, pointing it straight upward. Block your another nostril with your finger. Quickly and gently exhaust the spray bottle one time and sniff gently at the same time. Remove the exhaust from your nose and tilt your head back slightly for a little seconds.

· If using more than one spray for nostril, wait at least 30 seconds between every spray.

· Clean the spray bottle tip with a tissue and recap it.

• To be certain this medicine is helping your condition and is not causing deleterious effects, your doctor will need to check your progress on a regular basis, especially during the first 6 to 8 weeks of treatment. Do not miss any scheduled appointments.

What must I avoid while taking nafarelin nasal?

• Try not to sneeze or blow your nose just after using the spray. This may decrease the amount of medicine your body absorbs.

What are the possible side effects of nafarelin nasal?

• Get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your person, lips, tongue, or throat.

• Call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as:

· hard or continued menstrual bleeding;

· pelvic pain or swelling;

· heighten thirst, heighten urination;

· seizure (convulsions);

· chest pain or hard feeling, pain spreading to the hand or shoulder, nausea, sweating, common ill feeling;

· sudden numbness or weakness, sudden severe headache, confusion, problems with vision, speech, or balance; or

· nausea, upper stomach pain, itching, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).

• Smaller serious side effects may include:

· changes in breast size;

· oily skin or acne, heighten body odor;

· dandruff;

· magnify in pubic hair growth;

· mood changes;

· runny nose;

· hot flashes;

· mild headache, muscle pain;

· easy and casual menstrual bleeding;

· white or brownish vaginal discharge;

· vaginal dryness; or

· changes in sexual desire.

What another drugs will affect nafarelin nasal?

• If you have a stuffy nose during your treatment with nafarelin nasal, ask your doctor till using a decongestant. If your doctor recommends a decongestant nasal spray, do not use the decongestant for at least 2 hours after you have used nafarelin nasal.

• There may be another drugs that can interact with nafarelin nasal. Speak your doctor about all medications you use. This includes prescription, over-the-counter, vitamin, and herbal commodity. Do not start a new medicine without telling your doctor.
