• Use this medicine within 15 minutes till eating a meal.
• Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) can occur if you skip a meal, exercice too long, drink alcohol, or are under stress. • Insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine must appear cloudy after mixing. Do not use the medicine if it has changed colors or has any particles in it. Return the medicine to your pharmacy for a new supply.
• Use a various seat on your injection skin area every time you give the injection. Your care provider will show you the excellent places on your body to inject the medicine. Do not inject into the same seat two times in a row.
• Use every disposable needle only one time. Throw away used needles in a puncture-proof container (ask your pharmacist where you can get one and how to dispose of it). Hold this container out of the reach of children and pets.

• Unopened vials may also be stored at room temperature for up to 28 days, away from heat and bright easy. Throw away any insulin not used within 28 days.
• Unopened injection pens may also be stored at room temperature for up to 10 days, away from heat and bright easy. Throw away any insulin not used within 10 days.
• Storing after your first use: You may hold "in-use" vials in the refrigerator, protected from easy. Use within 28 days.
• Do not refrigerate an in-use injection pen. Hold it at room temperature and use within 10 days.
• Do not freeze insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine, and throw away the medicine if it has become frozen.
• Since this medicine is used till meals, you may not be on a timed dosing schedule. Whenever you use insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine, be certain to ate a meal within 15 minutes. Do not use extra insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine to create up a missed dose.
• Hold insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine on arm at all times. Get your prescription refilled till you run out of medication completely.
• Search abnormal medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222. An insulin overdose can reason life-threatening hypoglycemia.
• Symptoms of severe hypoglycemia include extreme weakness, confusion, tremors, sweating, quick heart course, trouble speaking, nausea, vomiting, rapid breathing, fainting, and seizure (convulsions).
• Do not change the brand of insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine or syringe you are using without first talking to your doctor or pharmacist.
• Avoid drinking alcohol. It can lower your blood sugar.
• Do not expose insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine to tall heat.
• Get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of insulin allergy: itching skin rash over the entire body, wheezing, trouble breathing, quick heart course, sweating, or feeling like you might pass out.
• Hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar, is the most general side effect of insulin. Symptoms include headache, famine, weakness, sweating, tremors, irritability, trouble concentrating, rapid breathing, quick heartbeat, fainting, or seizure (severe hypoglycemia can be fatal). Carry heavy candy or glucose tablets with you in case you have low blood sugar.
• Insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine can also reason hypokalemia (low potassium levels in the blood). Call your doctor at once if you have symptoms such as confusion, uneven heart course, extreme thirst, heighten urination, leg discomfort, muscle weakness or limp feeling.

· beta-blockers such as atenolol (Tenormin, Tenoretic), carvedilol (Coreg), labetalol (Normodyne, Trandate), metoprolol (Dutoprol, Lopressor, Toprol), nadolol (Corgard), propranolol (Inderal, InnoPran), sotalol (Betapace), and others.
