You must not use this medicine if you are allergic to resorcinol.
Resorcinol is for use only on the skin. Do not get it in your eyes, nose, or mouth.
Although the risk of serious side effects is low when resorcinol is applied properly to the skin, determined side effects can occur if the medicine is absorbed through your skin and into your bloodstream. This includes heart course or breathing changes, weakness, severe headache, nausea, vomiting, or feeling restless or nervous.
Your body may absorb resorcinol through the skin if you use too many of the medicine or if you apply it over big skin areas. Skin that is cut or irritated may also absorb more topical medication.
Call your doctor if your skin condition does not improve or if it gets worse while using resorcinol.
Resorcinol topical (for the skin) works by breaking down rough, scaly, or hardened skin.
Resorcinol topical is used to treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, seborrhea, corns, callouses, warts, and another skin disorders.
Resorcinol may also be used for another purposes not listed in this medicine guide.
You must not use this medicine if you are allergic to resorcinol.
It is not known whether this medicine could be deleterious to an unborn child. Speak your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment.
It is not known whether resorcinol passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing child. Do not use this medicine without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.
Use this medicine exactly as it was predesigned for you. Do not use the medicine in larger amounts or for longer than recommended by your doctor.
Apply only satis of the medicine to cover the area needing treatment, and rub in gently.
Wash your hands after applying resorcinol unless you are treating a skin condition on the hands.
Your body may absorb resorcinol through the skin if you use too many of the medicine or if you apply it over big skin areas. Skin that is cut or irritated may also absorb more topical medication.
Call your doctor if your skin condition does not improve or if it gets worse while using resorcinol topical.
Store this medication at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and direct easy. Do not freeze.
Use the medicine as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for the following doze, skip the missed doze and wait before your following regularly scheduled doze. Do not use extra medication to create up the missed dose.
Search abnormal medical attention if you think you have used too many of this medication. Symptoms of an overdose of resorcinol absorbed through the skin may include weakness, shortness of breath, slow heart course, nausea, vomiting, or severe headache.
Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes, mouth, or nose. If it does get into any of these areas, rinse with water.
Avoid using another skin commodity that can reason dryness or irritation such as harsh soaps, abrasive skin cleansers, medicated cosmetics, or skin commodity with alcohol, spices, astringents, or lime. Applying these commodity to the same skin you treat with resorcinol may reason severe irritation. Follow your doctor's instructions about using any another commodity on skin treated with resorcinol.
Get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your person, lips, tongue, or throat.
Although the risk of serious side effects is low when resorcinol is applied properly to the skin, determined side effects can occur if the medicine is absorbed through your skin and into your bloodstream. Call your doctor at once if you have any sign that resorcinol has been absorbed through the skin, such as:
· slow heart rate;
· dizziness, drowsiness, or weakness;
· feeling short of breath;
· severe or ongoing headache;
· nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea; or
· feeling restless or nervous.
Smaller serious side effects may include:
· mild skin irritation;
· skin redness; or
· peeling.

Do not use another medicated skin commodity unless your doctor has told you to, especially:
· benzoyl peroxide (Oxy 10, Fostex, Clearskin, Benzagel, Benzamycin, BenzaClin, ZoDerm, and much others);
· salicylic acid (Dermarest, Sebucare, StriDex, Inova, Oxy Person Scrub, and much others);
· sulfur (Acnotex, NuOx, Sulfoxyl, Sulfo-Lac, Sulforcin, Fostril, and much others; or
· tretinoin (Renova, Retin-A, Altinac, Tretin-X, and others).
This list is not complete and there may be another topical medications that can interact with resorcinol.
It is not likely that another drugs you take orally or inject will have an effect on topically applied resorcinol. But much drugs can interact with every another. Speak your doctor about all your prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, minerals, herbal commodity, and drugs predesigned by another doctors. Do not start a new medicine without telling your doctor.
