Fluconazole increases the AUC of
celecoxib by 130%. The AUC of the active
metabolite of parecoxib (valdecoxib) is increased by 62% by
fluconazole.
The manufacturers recommend that half the dose of
celecoxib should be used in patients taking
fluconazole. A dose reduction of parecoxib is recommended in patients taking
fluconazole.
