There is some evidence that a disulfiram-like reaction can occur if patients taking
levamisole drink
alcohol.
The
clinical significance of this interaction is not known. The reaction, when it occurs, normally seems to be more unpleasant and possibly frightening than serious, and usually requires no treatment.
