Store undecylenic acid topical at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and easy. Hold the aerosol forms of this medication away from open flame or tall heat, such as in a machine on a hot day. The medication canister may explode if it gets too hot.
Do not use the aerosol powder or foam around heat or open flame, or while smoking.
Apply the missed doze as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your following doze, wait before then to apply the medication and skip the missed doze. Do not apply extra medication to create up the missed dose.
An overdose of undecylenic acid applied to the skin is not likely to occur.
Avoid getting this medicine in your mouth, nose, eyes, or vagina. If it does get into any of these areas, rinse with water. Do not use undecylenic acid topical on broken skin or pus-filled lesions (such as acne).
Get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your person, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using this medicine and call your doctor at once if you have severe burning or stinging of treated skin, or if you have any new skin symptoms.
Smaller serious side effects may include unusual blistering, peeling, itching, redness, dryness, or irritation of treated skin.
