Tamarindus indica fruit extract caused a 3-fold increase in the
serum levels of aspirin.
The
clinical relevance of this interaction is unknown, but large rises in the aspirin levels may result in
toxicity. It therefore seems unlikely to be a problem with low- dose aspirin.
