Tab: 100 mg; <10 yrs: 5 mg/kg/day PO qd (max 150 mg/day)
>10yrs:100 mg PO bid
For
prophylaxis, treat for 10 days after exposure or for 6-8 weeks during
influenza A season. For treatment of active
influenza A
infection, treat for 5-7
days. Must initiate therapy within 48 hours of symptom onset.
Not active against
Influenza B.
