PHENOBARBITAL AND TOPIRAMATE

Phenobarbital and primidone can reduce the serum levels of topiramate by about 30%.
When topiramate is added to phenobarbital or primidone therapy, its dose should
be titrated to effect. If phenobarbital or primidone are added or withdrawn be aware that the dose of topiramate may be need adjustment.
