Erythromycin increased the maximum
serum levels of eletriptan 2-fold and the AUC 3.6-fold in one study.
The manufacturers suggest that concurrent use of
erythromycin and other macrolide inhibitors of CYP3A4 (such as
clarithromycin and telithromycin) should be avoided. Other
macrolides seem less likely to interact, see
macrolides.
