This disease was initially seen only in elderly men and natives of Central Africa. Experimental work has shown that the AIDS-related Kaposi's sarcoma and the Central African variety respond differently to some types of medications. Radiotherapy and
chemotherapy are usually recommended. 2. A type of cancer characterized by abnormal growths of blood vessels that develop into purplish or brown lesions. It is suspected that the cause of Kaposi's sarcoma is a newly found herpes
