A case report describes a hypertensive reaction attributed to the concurrent use of dopamine and selegiline. Rasagiline is expected to interact like selegiline.
The manufacturers of selegiline recommend that dopamine should be used cautiously, if at all, in patients who are chronically receiving selegiline or who have received selegiline in the 2 weeks prior to dopamine therapy. However, note that, in general, an interaction would not be expected, see
