• This medicine is supplied as a kit containing hydrocortisone lotion, salicylic acid and sulfur shampoo, and a cleansing shampoo.

• Also speak your doctor if you have diabetes. Topical steroid medicines absorbed through the skin may magnify the glucose (sugar) levels in your blood or urine.

• FDA pregnancy category C. It is not known whether hydrocortisone, salicylic acid, and sulfur will harm an unborn child. Speak your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while using this medication.

• It is not known whether hydrocortisone, salicylic acid, and sulfur passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing child. Do not use this medicine without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

• Do not use this medicine on a baby without a doctor's advice. Children are more sensitive to the effects of hydrocortisone topical.

• Steroids can affect growth in children. Conversation with your doctor if you think your baby is not growing at a usual course while using this medication.

How must I use hydrocortisone, salicylic acid, and sulfur?

• Use exactly as predesigned by your doctor. Do not use in larger or less amounts or for longer than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label. Topical steroid medication can be absorbed through the skin, which may reason steroid side effects throughout the body.

• This combination product comes as a kit that includes hydrocortisone lotion, a medicated shampoo containing both salicylic acid and sulfur, and a gentle cleansing shampoo. Carefully follow the directions for use of the three products.

What happens if I miss a dose?

• Since this medicine is used as needed, you may not be on a dosing schedule. If you are using the medicine regularly, use the missed doze as soon as you remember. Skip the missed doze if it is nearly time for your following scheduled doze. Do not use extra medication to create up the missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?

• Search abnormal medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222.

• Long-term use of tall steroid doses can lead to symptoms such as thinning skin, light bruising, changes in the shape or location of body thick (especially in your person, neck, back, and waist), heighten acne or facial hair, menstrual problems, impotence, or loss of interest in sex.

· redness or crusting near hair follicles;

· color changes in treated skin;

· thinning of your skin; or

· stretch marks.
