The INR of a patient taking
warfarin increased from 2.4 to 3.5 after he took curbicin, which contains saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) and
Cucurbita pepo.
The
clinical importance of this interaction is unknown, but bear it in mind in case of an increased response to anticoagulant treatment.
