HERBAL MEDICINES OR DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS AND VENLAFAXINE - ST JOHN'S WORT (HYPERICUM PERFORATUM)
A possible case of serotonin syndrome, have been reported in a patient taking venlafaxine and St John's wort. Caution is advised if venlafaxine is given with other drugs that affect the serotonergic neurotransmitter systems, such as St John's wort.
