The concurrent use of
MAOIs and
duloxetine may lead to
serotonin syndrome.
The manufacturers contraindicate the use of
duloxetine with non-selective irreversible
MAOIs, during and for 14 days after discontinuing an MAOI. At least 5 days should be allowed after stopping
duloxetine before starting an MAOI.
