You must not use this medicine if you are allergic to dipivefrin, or if you have narrow-angle glaucoma.
Till using dipivefrin, speak your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or if you have tall blood pressure or a history of cataract surgery.
Do not use this medicine while you are wearing contact lenses. This medicine may contain a preservative that can be absorbed by soft contact lenses. Wait at least 15 minutes after using dipivefrin till putting your contact lenses in.
Do not let the dropper tip to touch any surface, including the eyes or hands. If the dropper becomes contaminated it could reason an infection in your eye, which can lead to vision loss or serious hurt to the eye.
Dipivefrin reduces the amount of fluid in the eye, which decreases pressure internal the eye.
Dipivefrin ophthalmic is used to treat open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension (high pressure internal the eye).
Dipivefrin ophthalmic may also be used for another purposes not listed in this medicine guide.
You must not use this medicine if you are allergic to dipivefrin, or if you have narrow-angle glaucoma.

If you have any of these conditions, you may need a doze adjustment or particular trials to safely use dipivefrin ophthalmic.
FDA pregnancy category B. This medicine is not expected to be deleterious to an unborn child. Speak your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment.
It is not known whether dipivefrin ophthalmic passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing child. Do not use this medicine without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.
Use this medicine exactly as predesigned by your doctor. Do not use it in larger amounts or for longer than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label.
Wash your hands till using the eye drops.
Do not use this medicine while you are wearing contact lenses. This medicine may contain a preservative that can be absorbed by soft contact lenses. Wait at least 15 minutes after using dipivefrin till putting your contact lenses in.
To apply the eye drops:
· Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to make a little pocket. Keep the dropper above the eye with the dropper tip down. Look up and away from the dropper as you squeeze out a drop, then close your eye.
· Gently press your finger to the internal corner of the eye (near your nose) for about 1 minute to hold the liquid from draining into your tear duct.
· If you use any another eye medications, wait about 5 minutes after using dipivefrin eye drops till using the another medication.
· Do not let the dropper tip to touch any surface, including the eyes or hands. If the dropper becomes contaminated it could reason an infection in your eye, which can lead to vision loss or serious hurt to the eye.
Do not use the eye drops if the liquid has changed colors or has particles in it. Call your doctor for a new prescription.
Store the drops at room temperature away from heat and moisture. Hold the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
Apply the missed doze as soon as you remember. However, if it is nearly time for the following regularly scheduled doze, skip the missed doze and apply the following one as directed. Do not use a double doze of this medication.
Search abnormal medical attention if you think you have used too many of this medication, or if anyone has accidentally swallowed it. An overdose of dipivefrin ophthalmic is unlikely to reason life-threatening side effects.
Avoid using any eye medications your doctor has not prescribed.
Stop using dipivefrin and get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your person, lips, tongue, or throat.
Call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:
· severe stinging or burning in your eyes;
· quick or uneven heart course; or
· tall blood pressure (severe headache, buzzing in your ears, anxiety, confusion, chest pain, shortness of breath).
Smaller serious side effects may include:
· burning, stinging, or itching of your eyes;
· blurred vision;
· redness of the eye or eyelid;
· sensitivity to light;
· eye pain; or
· headache.
