You must not use this medicine if you are allergic to dibucaine.
Till using dibucaine topical, speak your doctor if you have asthma or any allergies.
Use this medicine as directed on the label, or as your doctor has predesigned. Do not use the medicine in larger amounts or for longer than recommended.
Get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your person, lips, tongue, or throat.
Smaller serious side effects are more likely, and you may have none at all. Conversation to your doctor about any unusual or bothersome side effects.
Dibucaine topical (for the skin) is an antiseptic, or numbing medicine.
Dibucaine topical is used to treat pain and itching reason by minor burns, insect bites, hemorrhoids, sunburn, or another minor skin irritations.
Dibucaine topical may also be used for another purposes not listed in this medicine guide.

FDA pregnancy category C. This medicine may be deleterious to an unborn child. Speak your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while you are using this medication.
It is not known whether dibucaine topical passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing child. Do not use this medicine without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, or as predesigned by your doctor. Do not use it in larger amounts or for longer than recommended.
Dibucaine is generally applied to the affected area 3 to 4 times daily, depending why you are using the medicine. Follow the label directions or your doctor's instructions about how many medicine to use and how often.
Apply satis of this medicine to cover the entire area to be treated.
Dibucaine ointment may be used on the rectum after every bowel movement or up to 4 times for day to treat hemorrhoid pain and itching.
Wash your hands after applying dibucaine topical.
It is excellent to use no more than 1 pipe of dibucaine for day (24 hours). If you use the ointment on a baby, use no more than 1/4 of a pipe for day.
You may cover the treated skin area with a easy bandage or gauze dressing. Avoid any covering that does not let air to pass through it, such as plastic wrap.
Stop using dibucaine and call your doctor if your symptoms get worse, if you have a new skin rash or irritation, or if you have rectal bleeding.
Store this medicine at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
Since dibucaine topical is used as needed, it is not likely that you will be on a dosing schedule. Using extra dibucaine to create up a missed doze will not create the medicine more effective. If you are using the medicine regularly, use the missed doze as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your following doze, wait before then to use the medication and skip the missed doze. Do not use extra medication to create up the missed dose.
Search abnormal medical attention if you think you have used too many of this medication, or if anyone has accidentally swallowed it.
Overdose symptoms include confusion, blurred vision, ringing in your ears, extreme or ongoing numbness, slow heartbeat, or feeling like you may pass out.
Avoid getting this medicine in your mouth or eyes. If it does get into any of these areas, rinse with water right away. Do not use dibucaine topical on deep skin wounds or severe burns. Get medical attention for more severe skin irritation or injury.
Avoid exposure to sunlight or artificial UV rays (sunlamps or tanning beds). Dibucaine can create your skin more sensitive to sunlight and sunburn may result. Use a sunscreen (minimum SPF 15) and wear protective clothing if you should be out in the sun.
Get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your person, lips, tongue, or throat.
Call your doctor at once if you have any pain, bleeding, swelling, redness, or new skin irritation where the medication was applied.

Avoid applying another skin medications on the same treatment area with dibucaine, unless your doctor has told you to.
It is not likely that another drugs you take orally or inject will have any effect on topically applied dibucaine. But much drugs can interact with every another. Speak your doctor about all your prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, minerals, herbal commodity, and drugs predesigned by another doctors. Do not start a new medicine without telling your doctor.
