The manufacturers say that valdecoxib (the pro-drug of parecoxib) caused a 3-fold increase in the
serum levels of
dextromethorphan.
D If the combination is thought necessary, a low dose of
dextromethorphan is
advisable. Concurrent use should be well-monitored for evidence of
toxicity.
