The manufacturers predict that the
serum levels of
sirolimus will be increased by
danazol. Note that similar predictions have proven to be true with ciclosporin (
cyclosporine) and
tacrolimus.
Sirolimus levels and/or effects (e.g. on
renal function) should be monitored as a matter of routine, but it may be prudent to increase monitoring if
danazol is started or stopped.
