Tacrolimus levels are said to have been increased, decreased and unaltered by
methylprednisolone.
The combination of
tacrolimus and
corticosteroids is commonly used. The
clinical importance of this interaction is therefore probably limited, but if abnormal results occur, remember that this drug combination could perhaps be a cause.
