CLOPIDOGREL AND WARFARIN AND OTHER ORAL ANTICOAGULANTS

A small study suggests that warfarin and clopidogrel do not interact adversely. However the manufacturers say that the concurrent use of warfarin and clopidogrel is not recommended because it may increase the intensity of bleeding.
If concurrent use is necessary it would seem prudent to monitor the outcome of concurrent use. Monitor for signs of bleeding and check bleeding times as necessary.
