CICLOSPORIN (CYCLOSPORINE) AND SULFINPYRAZONE

Sulfinpyrazone can reduce ciclosporin levels (by about 40% in one study), and this is said to have led to transplant rejection, which developed over a period of several months.
If there is a trend towards decreased ciclosporin levels in patients taking sulfinpyrazone it would be prudent to consider this interaction as a cause and adjust treatment accordingly.
