Previous or concurrent treatment with
methotrexate may possibly increase the risk of liver and other
toxicity, but effective and valuable concurrent use has also been reported.
Ciclosporin causes a moderate rise in
serum methotrexate levels.
Monitor the outcome of concurrent use carefully. The dose of either drug may need to be reduced and drug
toxicity (
renal and
hepatic) may be more common.
