Ciclosporin may elevate
ezetimibe levels by as much as 3.4-fold.
The manufacturers advise that
ciclosporin levels and
ezetimibe adverse effects should be closely monitored. Be aware of the risks of increased
ezetimibe toxicity (abdominal pain, headache, nausea and rarely myopathy). Patients should be advised to report any muscle pain, tenderness or weakness.
