Tab, ER: 375, 500 mg; 20-40 mg/kg/day PO q8-12 (max 2 gm/day)
Adolescents: 250-500 mg PO q8h or 375 mg ER tab PO q12h
Side effects include
serum sickness reaction. May dose bid for otitis media and pharyngitis.
