CARBAMAZEPINE AND ETHOSUXIMIDE

Some, but not all studies suggest that carbamazepine reduces ethosuximide levels by about 20% and reduces its half-life.
The concurrent use of antiepileptics is common and often advantageous. Information on this interaction is sparse, and its clinical importance is uncertain, although probably small.
