CALCIUM-CHANNEL BLOCKERS AND PHENYTOIN - NIMODIPINE OR NISOLDIPINE
Phenytoin (with carbamazepine) reduces nimodipine levels by 85% and phenytoin reduces the AUC of nisoldipine 10-fold. Fosphenytoin, a prodrug of phenytoin, may interact similarly. The manufacturers contraindicate concurrent use.
