The use of
beta blockers with
felodipine,
isradipine, lacidipine, nicardipine, and
nimodipine normally appears to be useful and safe. Changes in the
pharmacokinetics of the
beta blockers and
calcium-channel blockers may also occur, but these changes do not appear to be clinically important. Note that additive hypotensive effects are likely, see
antihypertensives.
Monitor the outcome of concurrent use for additive haemodynamic effects (e.g. hypotension or heart failure).
