BENZODIAZEPINES AND HERBAL MEDICINES OR DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS - ST JOHN'S WORT (HYPERICUM PERFORATUM)

The bioavailability of oral midazolam is reduced by about 50% by long-term use of St John's wort. St John's wort decreases the metabolism of quazepam, although this did not increase its effects.
No action needed, but bear this interaction in mind if an inadequate response to oral midazolam is seen.
