Phenobarbital (with phenytoin) has reduced the levels of
ketoconazole and its antifungal effects in some patients. Note that
primidone is metabolised to
phenobarbital and therefore may interact similarly.
Be alert for any signs of a reduced antifungal response. Consider adjusting the dose of
ketoconazole.
