Ketoconazole is reported to increase the peak
plasma levels and AUC of
mirtazapine by about 30% and 45%, respectively.
The manufacturers of
mirtazapine advise caution on concurrent use with
itraconazole or
ketoconazole. Monitor for adverse effects (e.g. oedema, sedation).
