Ketoconazole levels can be reduced by 50 to 80% by rifampicin (
rifampin), and there seems to be a modest additional effect when
isoniazid is also given.
Monitor
efficacy closely and consider increasing the dose of
ketoconazole if required. It may be prudent to consider an alternative antifungal.
