Itraconazole (and therefore probably ketoconazole) can markedly raise the 
serum levels of 
felodipine (by up to about 8-fold), which increases its adverse effects, in particular ankle and leg swelling. Ketoconazole raises the levels of 
lercanidipine and 
nisoldipine (peak 
plasma levels increased by roughly 10-fold). 
 Concurrent use is contraindicated.
