ASPIRIN AND GOLD

A study in rheumatoid patients given aspirin suggested that the concurrent use of gold can increase aspirin-induced hepatotoxicity. However, concurrent treatment was more effective than aspirin alone.
Other analgesics, such as fenoprofen appear safer than aspirin (in analgesic doses) so it is probably wise to consider an alternative analgesic.
