Two studies found that
buspirone can cause a rise in
plasma haloperidol levels, while another found that no interaction occurred.
There would seem to be no reason for avoiding concurrent use. However, be aware
that some patients seem to experience large rises in
haloperidol levels, so consider
this interaction if the effects of
haloperidol seem excessive.
