physical conditions such as
glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy or
constipation, in
whom antimuscarinic drugs should be used with caution, if at all. It has been pointed out that the antimuscarinic adverse effects can mimic the effects of normal ageing. Consider also antipsychotics, below.
Concurrent use need not be avoided but some caution is warranted, especially in the disease states mentioned.
