impair psychomotor performance, but neither ebastine nor mizolas- tine (both non-sedating antihistamines) further impair this. An enhanced sedative effect would be expected if known sedative antihistamines
are given with benzodia- zepines.
No action is needed if ebastine or mizolastine are taken with benzodiazepines
. However, warn all patients taking sedating antihistamines
of the potential effects, and counsel against driving or undertaking other skilled tasks. The degree of
impairment will depend on the individual patient.
