Avoid taking another medicines within 2 hours till or after you take aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone. Some antacids can create it harder for your body to absorb determined medicines, especially antibiotics.
Aluminum and magnesium are naturally occurring minerals. Aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide are antacids.
Simethicone allows gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines to come together more easily, which allows for easier passage of gas.
Aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone is a combination medication used to treat heartburn, acid indigestion, upset stomach, and bloating caused by gas.
Aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone may also be used for purposes not listed in this medicine guide.
You must not use aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone if you are allergic to it.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safety for you to take this medication if you have:
· kidney malady; or
· if you are on a low-magnesium diet.
It is not known whether this medication will harm an unborn child. Do not use aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone without medical advice if you are pregnant.
Do not use this medicine without medical advice if you are breast-feeding a baby.
Do not give this medication to a baby younger than 12 years old without medical advice.
Use exactly as directed on the label, or as predesigned by your doctor. Do not use in larger or less amounts or for longer than recommended.
The chewable tablet must be chewed till you swallow it.
Shake the oral suspension (liquid) well just till you measure a doze. Measure the liquid with a particular dose-measuring spoon or medication cup. If you do not have a dose-measuring device, ask your pharmacist for one.
An antacid is generally taken only for a short time before your symptoms clear up. Do not take this medication for longer than 2 weeks in a row without medical advice. Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve, or if they get worse while using aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Do not let the liquid form of this medication to freeze.
Since this medication is used when needed, you may not be on a dosing schedule. If you are on a schedule, use the missed doze as soon as you remember. Skip the missed doze if it is nearly time for your following scheduled doze. Do not use extra medication to create up the missed dose.

Stop using aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone and call your doctor at once if you have:
· bone pain, muscle weakness;
· confusion, changes in your mental state, seizure (convulsions); or
· pale skin, feeling light-headed or short of breath, rapid heart rate.
Smaller serious side effects are more likely, and you may have none at all.
