What is the most significant information I must know about azelastine and fluticasone nasal?

• You must not use this medicine if you are allergic to azelastine (Astelin, Astepro, Optivar) or fluticasone (Advair, Cutivate, Flovent, Flonase, Veramyst), or if you are also taking ritonavir (Norvir, Kaletra).

• Till using azelastine and fluticasone nasal, speak your doctor if you have glaucoma or cataracts, diabetes, herpes simplex virus of your eyes, tuberculosis or any another infection, sores or ulcers internal your nose, or if you have recently had injury of or surgery on your nose.

• It may take up to different days of using this medication till your symptoms improve. Speak your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after a week of treatment.

Fluticasone can lower blood cells that help your body fight infections. Avoid being around people who are sick or have infections. Call your doctor for preventive treatment if you are exposed to chicken pox or measles. These conditions can be serious or even fatal in people who are using steroid medication.

• Do not share this medicine with another people, even if they have the same symptoms you have.

• Do not give this medication to a baby younger than 12 years old without medical advice. Steroid medicine can affect growth in children. Conversation with your doctor if you think your baby is not growing at a usual course while using this medication.

Throw the medicine away after you have used 120 sprays, even if there is still medication left in the bottle.

What is azelastine and fluticasone nasal?

Azelastine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can manufacture symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.

Fluticasone is a steroid. It prevents the release of substances in the body that reason inflammation.

• The combination of azelastine and fluticasone is used to treat nasal symptoms such as congestion, sneezing, and runny nose caused by seasonal allergies. Fluticasone nasal is for use in adults and children who are at least 12 years old.

Fluticasone nasal may also be used for purposes not listed in this medicine guide.

What must I discuss with my healthcare provider till taking azelastine and fluticasone nasal?

• You must not use this medicine if you are allergic to azelastine (Astelin, Astepro, Optivar) or fluticasone (Advair, Cutivate, Flovent, Flonase, Veramyst), or if you are also taking ritonavir (Norvir, Kaletra).

• To create certain you can safely use this medicine, speak your doctor if you have any of these another conditions:

· glaucoma or cataracts;

· herpes simplex virus of your eyes;

• It is not known whether azelastine and fluticasone nasal passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing child. Do not use this medicine without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

• Do not give this medication to a baby younger than 12 years old without medical advice. Steroid medicine can affect growth in children. Conversation with your doctor if you think your baby is not growing at a usual course while using this medication.

• Do not share this medicine with another people, even if they have the same symptoms you have.

How must I use azelastine and fluticasone nasal?

• Use exactly as predesigned by your doctor. Do not use in larger or less amounts or for longer than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label.

• This medicine comes with patient instructions for safety and effective use. Follow these directions carefully. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.

• Till using the spray for the first time, you should prime the spray exhaust. Shake the medication well and spray 6 test sprays into the air and away from your person. Prime the spray exhaust any time you have not used your nasal spray for longer than 2 weeks. Spray before a beautiful mist appears.

• Shake the medication bottle gently just till every use.

• The normal doze of azelastine and fluticasone nasal is 1 spray into every nostril twice for day. Follow your doctor's instructions.

• It may take up to different days till your symptoms improve. Hold using the medicine as directed and speak your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after a week of treatment.

Fluticasone can lower blood cells that help your body fight infections. Speak your doctor at once if you develop signs of infection.

• To be certain this medicine is not causing deleterious effects on your nose or sinuses, your doctor will need to check your progress on a regular basis. Do not miss any scheduled appointments.

• Store in an upright position at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Hold the dust cap on this medication when not in use. Throw the medicine away after you have used 120 sprays, even if there is still medication left in the bottle.

What happens if I miss a dose?

• Use the missed doze as soon as you remember. Skip the missed doze if it is nearly time for your following scheduled doze. Do not use extra medication to create up the missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?

• Search abnormal medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222 if anyone has accidentally swallowed the medication.

• An overdose of azelastine and fluticasone is not expected to manufacture life threatening symptoms. However, long term use of tall steroid doses can lead to symptoms such as thinning skin, light bruising, changes in the shape or location of body thick (especially in your person, neck, back, and waist), heighten acne or facial hair, menstrual problems, impotence, or loss of interest in sex.

What must I avoid while using azelastine and fluticasone nasal?

• Avoid getting the spray in your eyes or mouth. If this does happen, rinse with water for at least 10 minutes.

• This medicine may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert.

• Drinking alcohol can magnify determined side effects of azelastine.

• Avoid being around people who are sick or have infections. Call your doctor for preventive treatment if you are exposed to chicken pox or measles. These conditions can be serious or even fatal in people who are using steroid medication.

What are the possible side effects of azelastine and fluticasone nasal?

• Get abnormal medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your person, lips, tongue, or throat.

• Call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as:

· severe or ongoing nosebleeds;

· noisy breathing, runny nose, or crusting near your nostrils;

· redness, sores, or white patches in your mouth or throat;

· fever, chills, weakness, nausea, vomiting, flu symptoms;

· any wound that will not heal; or

· blurred vision, eye pain, or seeing halos near lights.

• Smaller serious side effects may include:

· drowsiness;

· minor nosebleed;

· altered sense of taste;

· headache; or

· sinus pain, cough, sore throat.

• This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may message side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.

What another drugs will affect azelastine and fluticasone nasal?

• Till using azelastine and fluticasone nasal, speak your doctor if you regularly use another medicines that create you sleepy (such as cool or allergy medication, narcotic pain medication, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, and medication for seizures, depression, or anxiety). They can add to sleepiness caused by azelastine.

• Speak your doctor about all another medicines you use, especially:

· conivaptan (Vaprisol);

· imatinib (Gleevec);

· isoniazid (for treating tuberculosis);

· nefazodone (an antidepressant);

· an antibiotic such as clarithromycin (Biaxin), erythromycin (E.E.S., EryPed, Ery-Tab, Erythrocin, Pediazole), rifampin (Rifater, Rifadin, Rifamate), or telithromycin (Ketek);

· antifungal medicine such as fluconazole (Diflucan), itraconazole (Sporanox), ketoconazole (Nizoral), miconazole (Oravig), posaconazole (Noxafil), or voriconazole (Vfend);

· heart or blood pressure medicine such as nicardipine (Cardene) or quinidine (Quin-G);

· the hepatitis C medications boceprevir (Victrelis) or telaprevir (Incivek); or

· HIV/AIDS medicine such as atazanavir (Reyataz), delavirdine (Rescriptor), fosamprenavir (Lexiva), indinavir (Crixivan), nelfinavir (Viracept), or saquinavir (Invirase).

• This list is not complete and another drugs may interact with azelastine and fluticasone nasal. Speak your doctor about all medications you use. This includes prescription, over-the-counter, vitamin, and herbal commodity. Do not start a new medicine without telling your doctor.
